Freelancers can make payments to national currency–denominated bank accounts in any of the following 29 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Uganda, Uruguay, and Vietnam.

Linking a bank account

To make a payment to a bank account opened in any of the above countries, add the account details and, if necessary, personal data (verification and/or tax information) by following the instructions in the table below.

  • To link a bank account, go to the Finances section, select Payment methods, and click Bank account.

Important! The bank account must be denominated in the national currency.

Accounts in other currencies cannot be used for payments.

Important! The freelancer's name, residential address, and tax details must match those of the account's beneficiary. Withdrawals to accounts that don't belong to the freelancer will be declined by the payment partner.

Country-specific guides for linking a bank account

Withdrawals to a bank account

Before withdrawing funds, make sure you have added your personal data in line with the above instructions.

Important! Verification is mandatory for payments to any country if withdrawals over a calendar year exceed EUR 2.5 thousand or the USD/RUB equivalent.

  • To withdraw money to a bank account, select the Balances tab and click Withdraw.

  • Select a bank account from the drop-down list of payment methods. The Specify amount field displays the entire current balance. If necessary, enter a different amount and click Next.

Important! Although Solar Staff processes payments in US dollars, the beneficiary's bank account is credited in the national currency as required by our payment partner.

Additionally, some countries may withhold taxes on payments as per their legislation.

Sample conversion that yields the final payment to a bank account:

1) Conversion in Solar Staff: EUR > USD
2) The payment partner's conversion: USD > National currency
3) Tax withheld on the payment partner's side:
Payment in national currency – Tax = Amount credited to the beneficiary's bank account.

Payment limits:

  • The cap on a single withdrawal is USD 3,000. If the withdrawal exceeds that amount, please contact support.

  • Payments to Chinese and Thai bank accounts are split into several transactions, maximum amount of each is as follows:

    • Thai bank: THB 49,999

    • Chinese bank: CNY 50,000
