Account verification is the process of verifying your identity and your address. What is verification for?

To verify their identity and address, freelancers need to upload certain documents. To learn about the requirements for such documents, see Verification rules.

Please note:

You need to photograph the original paper versions of your documents, and then upload them in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
All four corners of the document must be visible in the photo.
Photo should not be cropped or edited.
Electronic documents need to be uploaded in their original format (PDF)

Verifying your identity

For the first verification step, prepare the following documents:

Kazakhstan identity card (ID card)
Internal passport of Kazakhstan
Driver's license
Residence permit

Verifying your residential address

No matter which document you choose for the third verification step, it must contain all of the following information:

Your first and last name.
Your residential address
The logo, QR code, or seal of a well-known organization, or the signature of its representative.
Date of issue (maximum 6 months prior to the verification date).

We recommend using any suitable document from the Kazakhstan e-government's public services portal to verify the address, as that's what most successfully verified freelancers provided.

Document from Kazakhstan's public services portal
- On the public services portal, go to the Healthcare section and request a document via one of the online services:
  - Information about the status of dynamic monitoring (or the absence of dynamic monitoring) of narcological patients via Providing information from the Mental Health Center "Narcology"
  - Information about the condition or failure of tuberculosis patients on the dispensary register via Providing information from the Center of Phthisiopulmonology "Phthisiology"
  - Information about the status of dynamic monitoring (or the absence of dynamic monitoring) of patients with mental behavioral disorders via Providing information from the Mental Health Center "Psychiatry"
- Upload the resulting document in its original format (PDF).

You can also use the documents listed below to verify your address (provided they meet the requirements):

Service bill or service contract
- Examples of documents: utility bill, cable Internet bill, television bill, landline or mobile phone bill, contract for the provision of any of the listed services.
- The document must be in your name and contain typed text in Kazakh, Russian, or English, as well as the logo or seal of the issuing organization (or its representative's signature), and your residential address.
- As at the background check date, the bill or contract should be no more than 6 months old.

Temporary residence permit
- The certificate must prominently and clearly feature your name and residential address.
- Upload a photo of the document in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.

Document from Kazakhstan's Pension Fund
- Via the Pension Fund's website, request the document titled "Information on the balances and cash flows on the individual pension account as at [date]" (Жеке зейнетақы шотындағы қалдықтар мен ақша қозғалысы туралы мәліметтер [күні]).
- Upload the resulting document in its original format (PDF).

Residential lease agreement
- The agreement must be made up in typed Kazakh, Russian, or English language.
- You need to upload a photo of the first and last pages of the agreement's paper version. If it's an electronic agreement, upload it as a PDF file and contact Support via chat so they check it manually.
- If the agreement is currently in effect, but was signed more than 6 months ago, contact Support via chat so they check it manually.

Notes on documents at the first and third verification steps

In order to successfully pass verification, upload any document from the list during the first step, and any suitable document from the Kazakhstan e-government's public services portal (or a document from the list above) in the third step.
