Solar Staff’s secure transaction feature moves funds from your balance into protected escrow, benefiting both businesses and their contractors. This system guarantees legal work arrangements while enabling document generation based on accepted work, regardless of when payment occurs (with document generation timeframes remaining consistent).

A secure transaction temporarily moves funds from your Solar Staff balance into a protected escrow account until your contractor completes the task and meets all conditions.

The secure payment process:

  1. Top up your Solar Staff balance with the necessary amount.

  2. Your contractor completes the task (delivering the service or work).

  3. After confirmation, payment transfers either manually or automatically when conditions are met.

  4. If the task remains incomplete, funds return to your balance.

Choose your payment security method

Solar Staff offers three secure transaction types:

  • Funds held at task creation – Requires sufficient balance when creating a task, with the amount immediately placed in escrow.

  • Funds held at task acceptance – Money is only set aside after you review and accept satisfactory work. You’ll need sufficient balance at the moment of acceptance. More about the process

  • Funds held within 30 days after accepting work results – Also places funds in escrow from your balance, but gives you 30 days after task completion to review and accept work. Available only in exceptional cases.
