Here you’ll find a complete overview of your account users, including administrators. Administrators can add new team members and fine-tune their permissions to optimize your team’s workflow.
Create a user
To add a new user, simply enter their email address – they’ll use this to log into the system. We’ll send them an invite to join Solar Staff automatically.
When creating a user, you can set specific permissions that define their access level and customize how their dashboard appears:
Here’s a detailed look at key permissions:
Create new tasks and Accept task results – Create tasks and manage their completion status (accept work or request revisions). These permissions don’t include payment processing or reversing accepted task statuses.
Make payments – Process or decline any tasks with “Awaiting payment” status.
Create new users – Add team members to the account and configure their permission settings.
Import tasks – Upload multiple tasks simultaneously (learn more).
Edit groups – Create and modify groups within the tasks tab.
Accountant – Access the Documents section to work with completion certificates and invoices.
Observer – View tasks and contractors without making changes.
General security settings

Define automatic session timeout periods that require re-authentication
